‘Worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War!’ Can Biden really be this dumb?

The author lost all credibility when he described the breach of the Capitol Building as relatively mild. That's just another example of Trump, GOP, and right wingers creating alternate universes based on lies. They have no principles and no shame.

Dumb would require the possibility of intelligence, Pedo Joe has the IQ of a rock and the memory of dead goldfish.

Looking at it from his point of view its worse because it's the first time a group of Americans tried to storm the capitol with a coupe. Their were peaceful protesters there of course just like that of the protestors of last summer. A few opportunists took the advantage to do what they shouldn't have done. They crossed the line that shouldn't have. This is the first domestic terrorist act of a large group since the Civil war. The presidential election behind us within history. It's all a matter of prospective honestly. We've had many attacks against our democracy from the war of 1812 to 911.

LTC David Brown I said since 911. I'm not sure when the Puerto Rico incident you're referring to took place because I've never been taught it and this is the first I'm hearing of it. In regards to the planes I'm aware of the one that flew into the pentagon and united 93 that crashed in Pennsylvania in route to the Whitehouse. All happened on 911. I remember the protests that occurred during Brett Kavanaghs appointment to the Supreme Court. I don't know what happened on the day Trump took office because quite frankly I was working and didn't even watch his swearing in. No I'm not a leftists trump hater I just didn't tune in. I don't watch the news or read news articles unless I have to. I was antidototally giving what Bidens perspective may have been.

Col Jim Harmon
Bonus Army of 1932 comes to mind as being slightly more 'challenging' to established political elites.

PFC (Join to see) - since 9-11 The Jan 6 breech was hardly a coup attempt, literally none of the people that breached into the Capital Hill had guns, there was no organization. One police officer was crushed, several were assaulted. Nobody was flashing lasers trying to blind them etc. no attempt at arson. There was a lame attempt to try to force Trump out of the White House once but it went no where. There was the incident where a disgruntled liberal shot up Republicans at a baseball field, He almost killed Steve Scalise. Biden said since the civil war. https://history.house.gov/Exhibitions-and-Publications/1954-Shooting/Essays/Timeline/ I still believe the suppression of Blacks for around 70 years was a far larger attack on our Republican system of Government.
