the history of the WPA and how it was used a political weapon are something more folks should know about.....
I grew up hearing it helped out in some places but signing up was often based on your political affiliation and where work was done was based on that county's political history. Weird thing was my grandparents that told us of that were Dems. I found more information on that to support the charges as I got older.
