What does a suspension of pay mean when you're article 15'd but told you're not losing pay???

Not sure if you wrote that in the proper context PV2 Josh Rodriguez. I'd recommend that you speak with a JAG Lawyer to. E sure you fully understand your rights regarding this question to be sure. "Forfeiture" of pay is the way I remember it being stated when a loss of pay was involved.

LTC John Mohor been a few days since I've looked at an Art15, but the punishment was something like: forfeiture of <some amount of pay> for <some duration of time>, x days of extra duty and y days of restriction to Barracks, duty locations, dining facility, and place of worship for <some duration to attend a church service>. Then the commander may suspend all of the punishment, part of the punishment, or none of the punishment. This would happen at the second reading if I remember right.

From the way the question is stated, probably means you get the pay later than expected if there are no further offenses.

In other words he maybe suspending the pay part but definitely get a hold of JAG attorney
