Okay, I had to go to the VA again today. Across from me sat a Vietnam Vet wearing a Purple Heart hat. So we got to talking. And this line from our conversation put me on the floor:

"Yeah, I have been blown up, shot at, shot, shot back. I have been starved, thirsty, filthy, tired and gone without sleep for three days at a time. I have been shelled for almost seventy day in a row on a God forsaken hill in Nam.

I would do it all again if it would have stopped me from my second marriage."

How bad was that marriage? Sheesh.
