I am so blessed and grateful to have my mother still on this side of the living. She is eighty-six (86) years old. I have siblings and she lives with one of my siblings, currently. As children, we grew up in difficult times. But, today, things are different. Each of us has the opportunity to appreciate our mother everyday. I hope she will come and live with me, so that I can baby her and explore life with her. Faith and hardwork have provided a means to give back to my mother. I am delighted to be able to have my mother live with me, in her elderly years. Neither of us would have it any other way. There is an RPer who has his ninety (90) year old mother living with him. I do not have permission to give his name. But, I am so touched by this.

My Kathy has children like you...so I don't worry if I go first. She will be loved and cared for. I send hugs to you and your Mom!

SGT Kevin Hughes over the years, I have embraced how easy it is to overlook aging parents. I realized the aged parent is the most important presence in my life.
