Welcome, "ONE AND ALL" to the R.E.D. FRIDAY, January 16, 2026, edition of The “Colonel’s” VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day and Week!

“Focus on your path and trust yourself when you feel like you’re behind in life!” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

You're not behind. You're on your own timeline.

Today's Message is: "BEHIND DAY!" - Why Not?

Let’s “Remember Everyone Deployed” around the world today and every day until they come home!

Good “R.E.D. Friday” Morning “Band of Brothers & Sisters, Connections, Friends, Warriors, & Patriots!” Welcome to the end of the week from the “Colonel’s Foxhole” in Costa Rica — January 16, 2026

My quotes and message today were inspired by a very good friend Alfred Sevilla

“Behind every great leader are the people that make things happen. It’s a strong support system of dedicated people and followers who have been inspired by a leader with integrity and clear vision of the future! What’s behind you?” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs, CEO, Victory for Veterans, Inc (VFV)

With the proper team the concept of being behind is simply an incentive.

Somewhat Like Great Brittan's Boxer Day?
Not Exactly, But It Looks Relatively Close?
I Have NEVER Asked An Employee To Preform A Task Which I Have Not.
Reasoning: If The Employee Has A Problem With The Assignment, I Can Be Of Assistance And Show Him How To Do It Again, OR Preform The Task While Explaining The Procedures With Each Step., BUT, If I Can't Do It Either - You Guessed It --I Look Just As Stupid As Actually Am.

Great analyzing and relatable like the clock being unheard. I like that commentary because numbers keep popping up and present darker tunnels, with no answer. Faith is tantamount but reality keeps butting in.

A1C Medrick "Rick" DeVaney - I remember watching 'Monk' and in one episode where Monk was trapped in a car and the car was buried with dirt. That caused a panic attack, because claustrophobia set in. I had a seizure on top of that, Whenever I contemplate being buried I often wonder "What if". What if I was still alive?

The remedies need to expand and compassion can make a huge difference. I have seen affordable motels close or overcharge. This is where private and public businesses sponsor indivuals who need help. Even the vets can help. Many vets have service pets and emotional support animals but they need a warm bed, a nice meal. Even help with dog food. More can be done.
