This one caught my attention just now...it's not nonsense, certainly, albeit quite advanced, my interest in it seems from material I've sent in on exotic rocket propulsion techniques, there's a link to the free Arxiv preprint paper involved, as well, in the article here....

Mix two parts exotic matter with one part space with time extracted = Lorentzian Wormhole. If it was only that easy.

I was just reading something about wormholes the other day on the Maxx Planck website.
Second article listed. Hard concept to wrap the mind around as its at least a four dimensional object.

I typically use such sites as this one to find the serious papers such techniques to into in more depth, scientifically....

Capt Daniel Goodman - I usually get my science news from either https://www.sciencedaily.com/ or https://phys.org, though I also subscribe to AAAS and Science Magazine. Science Daily has excellent research news and links to references for those inclined to read the source material. I don't recommend Phys.org unless you disable the comments.

Capt Daniel Goodman - if you're interested in great space science reporting, here is another site: https://www.universetoday.com/
I love Fraser Cain and the crew. Plus, you can see Dr. Sutter on his show a lot, and Dr Pamela Gay co-hosts a regular show with Fraser Cain.
If you're interested in doing some citizen science with Dr. Pamela Gay and Dr. Matt, then check out https://cosmoquest.org/x/

Traversable Asymptotically Flat Wormholes with Short Transit Times
We construct traversable wormholes by starting with simple four-dimensionalclassical solutions respecting the null energy condition and containing a pairof oppositely charged black holes connected by a non-traversable wormhole. Wethen consider the perturbative back-reaction of bulk quantum fields inHartle-Hawking states. Our geometries have zero cosmological constant and areasymptotically flat except for a cosmic string stretching to infinity...
