That's probably because I quit drinking beer Brother Dale, not that I ever drank bud light. I drank the high-octane beer.

MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. - Thanks Dale, At 19, I wasn't much of a beer drinker, but on our 3 day standdown after 30 days in the bush, I learned to drink beer. We drank whatever had been sitting around at the PX for a while and was sometimes flat. Sometimes in the bush when we would get resupplied about every 3 days, the Army would give us a beer and a pop, along with a hot sphagetti meal. I remember getting Fresca for the pop and it was awful. I still hate it. Do you rememcer the SP packs that we got?

SPC Lyle Montgomery - I sure do. Nobody wanted the Kents, so I would grab all four cartons that came in the SP. Our Top would ice down beer and soda on the chopper pad to come out with the resupply bird. We always got Black Label and Fresca. I enjoyed shooting at Fresca cans after shaking them up and watch them launch like bottle rockets. . . .
