Great question I ask you the same. I ran 13 mins consistently up until running was not able to be preformed. Walked 25min 2.5 miles after. Squts/Deadlifts up to +-500lbs. I competed in my first powerlifting comp at 40. 1260 total. 200 class

Currently, I'm still in my "early" stage of lifting, started about 6 months ago, my 2 mile run time fluctuates between 14:30-and 15, my squat at the moment is 300 lbs for 1 rep, never tested my deadlift, bench is at 195.

SPC (Join to see) - Nice, I have been an avid powerlifter and Strongman for 9 years. Planning a comp.in NOV. A lot of people say the squat is the king of lifts I feel it's the deadlift..never let.anyone tell you squats.are bad for running ? Myth

I don't think squats are bad for running, I like lifting, I like reaching PRs and the muscle gain I get from it, I currently run Defranco's Westside for Skinny Bastards program as I weigh 150 at 5'6, though I feel I could incorporate alittle bit more running in my program to keep up my time.

I'm 38 and weigh 150. Ran 14:15 this week on my APFT. My best raw squat is 315# and best deadlift is 375# (December 2016), and my best 2mi since beginning powerlifting is 13:58 (October 2016). I ran a 13:03 in October 2014 before I started lifting seriously.

Currently I’m 220lbs at 6’2 and 37 years old. My best 2 mile is 12:27 and average around 13:30 currently. My deadlift is 575lbs and squat is 465lbs. I’ve been competing in bodybuilding for 10 years and was actually Mr Michigan a few years ago. HOOAH!
