Here are my thoughts:
- We need our allies to build up their militaries or help us with costs. Start downsizing our presence overseas.
- Those who say conventional forces are irrelevant are silly. We don't know what the next war would like. We need to be able to conduct a full spectrum of operations.
- We need to conduct joint operations with other countries militaries.
- We can make our prepositioning program more robust.
