I was rummaging through a number of my old computer files and found this song titled "Once In Awhile"... A song that was popular in the 1960's and one I didn't really know of, but fits in nicely with the 1960's and 1970's Era... I post this for your enjoyment and memories for those of you who are in your later years and whomever else finds an interest in 1960's music and the cars shown in images from that era... Let me know how you like this...
Enjoy,
Kerry

Vaguely remember the song, but definitely remember the cars. A little footnote, that black Corvette like that is what the Connecticut State Police used as an unmarked car to patrol the Connecticut Turnpike.

I loved the cars, back then. My first car was a 1963 Pontiac Catalina convertible.

My first car was a black 1951 Ford two door when I was 16... followed by a '55 Ford, then a 1955 Chevy Convertible followed by a 1957 Chevy convertible, which I loved, but gave it up when I joined the USAF... Many cars since though!!! LOL!

I first drove a $50 1961 Ford Galaxy that my dad bought from an uncle because of electrical problems. That was in 1970 and I was 17. I fixed it for 25 cents, after the Ford garage had given up on it for that uncle. I bout the Pontiac from my dad later that year for $300, after he got a newer car. It was followed by my 1966 GTO. After serving in the Army, I bought a nasty 1968 GMC Handivan.
