I don't know how many RP Members this might impact, but Walther has issued a recall for their CCP pistol.
"Walther Arms has identified a potential condition in Walther CCP pistols that could potentially cause it to discharge if dropped whether the manual safety is engaged (on) or disengaged (off)."

Wow, Walther has always been a great company. I am surprised that this slipped through their QC process. Thanks for sharing PO3 Steven Sherrill

LTC (Join to see) I agree. I have a PPK in .22LR that I bought for fun at the range. I always thought of Walther as one of the standards for manufacturing. Though one misque does not set a pattern.

The Walther notice pictures a pistol with a red circle to illustrate the location of the serial number. That red circle centers on the ejection port and the barrel, an unlikely place for a serial number.
I blew the picture up to 700 magnification, and saw (very blurred) what looked like a serial number "WK001668" on the frame, above the trigger guard, at the front edge of the frame. Immediately below, the caliber of "9 mm x 19" appears to be stated.
I could not make out any information in that red circle.
