I will be glad when I finally get healthy again. This staying up to all hours of the morning and eating at weird times...sheesh. That Movie Star Lady who once said: "Growing old is not for Sissies." Was not kidding. But speaking of Movies...
I just saw the trailer for one of my favorite Science Fiction books: "The Hail Mary Project" by Andy Weir. Yep, the same guy who wrote: "The Martian." And I have to say, it looks like they stuck to the book pretty doggone well.
One of the reasons I loved the book, is the Science is well done. And the Alien is believable (and if you have read the book....very Quotable.) They got a great Actor to play the main character....and he kinda fits how I imagined the guy to be when I read the book.
Both my Daughter's are Science Fiction Geeks, and when I first got the Book, I bought them both a copy. Then I went online and found T-shirts with some of the quotes from the book. Well doggone if they didn't send me a picture of both of them wearing those T- shirts. The little guy in the middle is now five years old...so it has been a while since the book came out. LOL
I haven't been to a Movie Theater since my Daughter took me to see "Dune"...the good one. LOL
But believe me, I will go to the theater to see this movie when it comes out. Do you suppose they put subtitles for us old Mortar Men?
