A House-Senate conference committee tasked with ironing out differences in separate versions of the defense authorization bill has rejected Senate-passed provisions that would have sharply increased TRICARE fees, deductibles and co-pays for a million retirees under age 65.

There is talk but the sheer logistics of it is going to take a lot of work. I.E., access to installations. Frankly a lot of veterans that didn't reitre have committed crimes post service that render them ineligible for access to installations.
I am not sure that I agree with all veterans. I think the commissary is a privilege and not a right. Those that have served till retirement either Active/Guard/Reserve have earned that privilege.
