2025 VA disability rates are based on the Social Security Administration’s (SSA) estimated 2.6% Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) increase. The new VA compensation rates, effective December 1, 2024, will be reflected in your payments starting January 1, 2025. If you’re a disabled veteran with a VA rating of 10% or higher, our updated 2025 VA pay rates and charts below will help you estimate your new disability compensation.
Will There Be a 2025 VA Disability Increase?
Yes, our latest estimate for the 2025 VA disability increase is 2.6%, which will be applied to VA disability compensation rates effective December 1, 2024, and payable beginning January 1, 2025. This 2025 COLA prediction has been slightly adjusted downward following a lower-than-expected July 2024 CPI report, signaling a continued easing of inflationary pressures. Great New For Those Whom Are Already On The VA Disability Rolls,
But Many Of Us Have Been Trying For YEARS With NO Success.
Recently I Received A Telephone Call From The D.A.V.; As I'd Place The
Information Where The God's Only Knew Where It Was, And It Was Forwarded
To The D.A.V. And I Was Told They'd Help Me ~~ And I THINK "That Was About
2 Or 3 Weeks Ago", And Sense Then I AIN'T Heard Sh*t.. I'm NOT Surprised;
Just, Once Again, A Little Disappointed With The Results.

If it's anything like my DAV here, they are inundated with veterans. Give it time, but keep gently reminding them that you need help.

The COLA for 2025 is just another example at how little we mean to this country, as a disabled veteran my pension has put me in the poverty category, the increase should be around 7-8% but they managed to screw us again.

I heard that the VA has a shortfall because of accounting errors (REALLY?) heads should roll and the Biden Administration notified, disabled veterans on a pension are falling into the poverty category in California, that COLA should be around 7-8% instead of less than 2,6%, this is how America thanks its service men and women? SHAMEFUL
