Vic, your post reminds me of a time when a highway patrol pulled me over.
He said, "You were speeding."
I said nothing.
He said, "I bet you wonder why I stopped you when almost everyone else was speeding past you."
I said nothing.
After a pause, he said, "I'm gonna let you go but am hoping that stopping you will make others, who are really speeding, slow down!
I said nothing.
We both got back into our respective vehicles and drove off.
He said, "You were speeding."
I said nothing.

SPC (Join to see) Sometimes silence is the best thing! The last thing this cop expected was for someone not to try to justify why they were speeding or acting like they didn't know it!

I'd Give A "C" Note For A Photo Of The Cops Face When I Was Pulled Over For "Excessive "Speeding", When The Federal Limit Was 55 MPH.....When I Passed Him On The Highway, This Radar Clocked Me At 124.....I Slid To The Side Of The Highway And As He Walked Up To My Window, I Was Rolling In Down. He Began With The Routine Question:
"Sir, Do You Know Why I Pulled Yo Over"? .. I Just Cracked A Smile, But Couldn't Hold It Back; As I Yelled Out While Laughing : "YOU GOTTA BE SHIT*EN ME"!!.. The He Smiled Then Just CRACKED UP, As I Had,.... We Talked For A While And Laughed It Off.
But I DID Receive A Citation For "Going OVER 55, But Less That 65, In a 55 MPH Zone".
"MERRY CHRISTMAS" !... It Was Like Receiving A Frigging Gift!!
