I agree with you. Hubby was a fourth grade teacher and every day before the SOL tests was precious.
We finally got dug out yesterday afternoon. Going to try doing some errands today and tomorrow (Thursday) is the anniversary memorial service for the aircraft helicopter accident here in DC. I am assigned to the families in the helicopter battalion.

Oh man, that is a tough assignment. I would guess the best thing you can do for the families is listen, hug, and support. And keep your own heart from overwhelm.

Are The Daily Conversations With The Others In The Building
And Spending Most Of My Days In The Break Areas Chatting The Teachers
As They Came In And Returned To Their Class Rooms. LMBO - You'd NOT Believe
The Sweet Job I Had In The Clark County Schools; It Was A Classic - A Frigging Beauty.
There WERE of Course, Day When I ALMOST Worked - A Couple Of Really Close Calls.
