I saw this and did a double take. I read it again and did the Math. It stunned me that I have lived a gap in History as dramatic as the time from 1918-1970. And 1970 seems like just yesterday. But when I look at what 2022 looks like compared to 1970, it is every bit as different as 1970 was from 1918. This really made me aware of how much time has passed! Yikes!

When you're Born In 1944 And You're Now 80 Years Of Age,
We Can Recall, Both The Iceman And The Milkman Making Their Deliveries Using Horse Drawn Carts Then Sitting In Front Of Our Television Set, Watching The American Astronauts Land On The Moon
~ HOLY SH*T ~ I Really AM "6 Years Older Than Dirt."~

PS For Those Whom May Not Know, Before Everyone Had A Refrigerator In Their Kitchen,
We Had An "Ice Box"... A Small Wooden Box, Lined With Steel,To Absorb The Cold Temperatures.
The Ice Was Placed Inside & Above The Foods And Kept The Contents Fresh.~
YUP, Exactly Like The Walton's Have In Their Kitchen, On The TV Program.

We had an Ice Box. I still have the TV but can't find tubes for it.
