Excellent Post and Excellent information CW5 Jack Cardwell!!! I have a Massachusetts License to carry, but no where else... It seems that every state has a slightly different interpretation of the right to carry laws... In my view, this should be Federally mandated as it is supported by our extremely well thought out Constitution of The United States of America!!! Yes, I have a license to carry, but do not... Why, you ask, because if you fail to have "Insurance" and I, as yet, do not have the insurance... Without insurance, one could lose everything He or She has accumulated and wind up in jail over some occurrence where a gun was used... Is it right? NO!!! It still seems as if the Criminals still hold the cards...even if they have a gun on you, but you manage to somehow get your gun out and fire at the criminal! The Criminal would say in court that you pulled a gun on him or her first...and they put you in jail... The Politicians really don't have a clue what in H3!! they are doing!!!!

Thankfully a Georgia Weapons Carry license has reciprocity to a large number of states. Like you, I wish we had a national reciprocity. I maintain insurance through USCCA since I carry most everywhere.
But not having national reciprocity left me unarmed when travelling to Maine. Yes i could transport an unloaded firearm through NY, i could not stop and spend the night, legally. Thus, no firearm for the entire trip, no collapsible baton either.

My Vermont driver's license is valid in every State. My State's law on concealed carry should be honored in every State, but it's not, although we recognize every other State's carry licenses. Makes no sense, but consider who's serving in Congress.
