"This week's session will focus on post-military life and relationships. Often our training in service can impact the way that we are comfortable with asking others for help or how we establish relationships. By finding those we can trust and building connections, we are able to move from feeling like we carry it alone to feeling like we have a sense of belonging."

I have had PTSD for 10 years. My first two years I wanted to die. I wanted my corner to throw in the towel. Living meant more pain and suffering, but I persevered. I walked in the minefield and found the finish line. It was not easy. It was the hardest battle of my life. However, I am happy now.
For those who are walking in the minefield know this, some of us know how you feel and what you think about. We know of your symptoms and obstacles. We know that some of you are in complete darkness. We know that you inherently have a tremendous amount of fear. We want to help you navigate in the minefield.
My advice is despite the pain and chaos in your life, open yourself up so others can help you. You don't have to traverse life alone as some of us can help navigate for you. We want to navigate for you and to give you a vision of what healing means. Give some of us a chance to help.

MAJ Ken Landgren - More or less. It helped to move 100 miles away from where I grew up, and start over. I still have an occasional bad day, but I have never been able to readjust to normal sleep at nights, instead of during the days.

I just want to offer to you a PTSD Self Help Paper for you to read if you want too. It has helped many. I ask nothing in return. SPC Michael Terrell

MAJ Ken Landgren - Thanks for the offer, but at my age, and with my health I don't know how long I have left. I live alone, I'm 100% disabled and retired. Have a blessed day.
