Female Cadet Sets New Record for West Point's Punishing Obstacle Course

Cool! Great Job!! In college one of our Cheerleaders accepted a few of our cadet challenge to complete the "Ranger Challenge." Her stipulation was they would have to join the squad if she completed it at the male standard. She Passed the APFT, Passed the various other courses, and almost won the bet. She ran the six mile ruck with the male weight of 50lbs. rather than 35lbs. if I remember the weights correctly. She missed it by less than two minutes. The other cadets were relieved. I was bummed/I helped her train for a month (Not the 4 months the cadets had been training) and ran along side her (Without the Ruck) as her paceman. Unfortunately since everything was jammed into one day she was gassed. But she did well. She should have bet the cadets on a two day event. She would have won. So I'm glad to see this cadet do so well. Thanks for sharing!!
