So the grandkids and I were at lunch. And the subject of "Nutrition" came up.

"Pop Pop, Mommy says when you were in College you took Nutrition Classes."

"Yes, I took three of them. One on Medicinal Plants, one on Vitamins and Minerals, and one on good dietary practices. "

So what does Nutrition mean?"

"Well, basically it means anything the Human Body takes in as "Food" that helps the body stay healthy, repair itself, make bones skin, blood and stuff like that."
"What else?"
"Well, it teaches you how the body burns "fuel" and stores fat.Your body burns sugars, and uses protein to build muscle...and it needs plenty of water too. "
"So basically they taught you how to eat correctly and not get fat?"
"Yes, that about it in a nutshell."

So...ah..er...did you Fail?"

He had no idea why I howled.
