Well, always marry somebody smarter than you. So I tried to open a can of soup. The little ring attachment broke off.
I tried to use the electric can opener but the ridge lip is too high on the can.
No Luck.
I got a knife and tried to peel it open.
No luck.
I tried a scissors.
No luck.
I tried a screwdriver and pounded the little hole at the top.
No luck.
Kathy ( my wife and best friend) Smiles.
"Let me try."
I scoff.
She pulls the electric can opener out of the cupboard again.
"I already tried that!"
She smiles.
Turns the can UPSIDE DOWN and turns on the can opener.
It lifts off easily.
We eat soup in silence.
Every time I looked over at her...she could barely hide a smug smile.
And I ...could barely hide mine.
I married a very smart woman.
