This is in the same area where for no good reason 11 cold war era Russian Space Shuttles are sitting in the Kazakhstan desert. I think there may be a huge issue looming here that we better get and stay abreast of. COL Mikel J. Burroughs SMSgt Minister Gerald A. Let me adjust the chin strap on my tin hat...
While this could be an unusual natural phenomena, it sounds like it could be a test bed for a new bio weapon. Imagine if someone could develop a weapon that could be delivered and sit dormant until triggered, entire populations of animals could be wiped out.

That is my concern, though as a natural phenomena, the only likely candidate would be mass CO2 release, and that could potentially cause greater and more globally affecting consequences. The only natural action releasing that kind of CO2 would be seismic, magmatic though if that were the case a simple fly over should be able to determine this as the vegetation would suffer the same fate as the alpaca

Thank you Erin for this interesting article, these antelope need to be put somewhere that the humidity is way lower, and can still sustain them, so they can at least grow back in number.

200,000 drop dead in two weeks, (we should assist in the effort to move the remaining beasts) see if we can figure out what is really going on in that desert.
