So now that I have calmed down from my earlier post. Sorry about that rant folks. Now I know a bit better how to handle that next time. And maybe even avoid a next time!
So when I worked on ships I met a guy named Larry Kahn. Who is he you might ask. Well, I am glad you did. Because he is a 31 time World Tidily Wink World Champion. When I met him, he had won 12 World Championships ...in a row. Like a lot of World Class Tidily Wink Champions, he went to MIT.
He actually put on a demonstration with ten Tidily Winks in the air at the same time, landing in a shot glass a few feet away. He had a fancy jacket with Tidily Winks all over it. To put it bluntly, he was not shy. LOL
So now years later, and I watched a Comic who is little to "blue" for most folks. Especially since she is female. I like her comedy, because it is definitely from the female point of view. But she is a World Class FussBall Player. Yep, there is such a thing. Her Mom, was World Champ. And wrote the book about it! She calls it: "Soccer in a box." I always thought of it as just a way to pass time in a bar or bowling alley. Or sometimes, in a friend's basement. I played it myself. Not very good. I did not know there were Professional FussBall players.
So Kelsey Cook, the Comedian, used to have a podcast called : "Wrists of Fury" where she would challenge interesting guests to come play her in FussBall, and chat. She won all the time.
I have never met her. But I think it would be cool to have met World Champions in Two Sports that most folks have never heard of, or played. LOL
And I watched both her specials before I watched her Podcast. And in her second special she mentions falling in love with a much older man, who also happened to be a Comedian. Albeit much more famous than her.
Well, then I saw her Podcast "Wrists of Fury" with the first time she met what would become her husband.
Man, you could see it on her face...and his. It was like the night I met Kathy. You just knew she was smitten and he wasn't sure how to handle it, because he was smitten to...but an old guy ...so he tried to hide it.
Once I saw that Podcast and their interaction, I felt like I did about Kathy and I. They are the real deal. And it will be their last marriage for both of them.
So there you, Tidily Winks, and FussBall, World Champions. Who knew? Oh, and I forgot to mention Kelsey's Dad was a World Champion Yo Yo Artist! If your Mom is a World Champion FussBall player, and your Dad is the Yo Yo World Champion...Comedy is definitely in your future!

Holy Crap, you don't pick lightweights (pun intended). That was one remarkable man. If we hadn't taken those five years away from him ...who knows how much greater his boxing legacy would have been. His other legacy is always growing .

SP5 Dennis Loberger Cassius Clay later Muhammad Ali, I am totally speechless. During his time, I was really young.

I met Diane when I was 17, almost 59 years ago and we are still together. Not sure what my face revealed but I know how blessed I am.

@sgt Kevin Hughes I certainly believe in this kind of lifelong love connection. I have seen about three truly happily married couples, in my lifetime.
