Like Many Democrats, you only reference things that agree with you while ignoring the report itself.
The report talks about long term and historically. While it doesn't call ANTIFA and BLM by name, it does refer to them
"Exploitation of Lawful and Protected Speech and Protests. During the course of developing the HTA we began to see a new, alarming trend of exploitation of lawful protests causing violence, death, and destruction in American communities. This anti-government, anti-authority and anarchist violent extremism was identified by DHS in September 2019 when we published our Strategic Framework for Countering Terrorism and Targeted Violence. As the date of publication of this HTA, we have seen over 100 days of violence and destruction in our cities. The co-opting of lawful protests led to destruction of government property and have turned deadly"
"Indeed, DHS law enforcement officers suffered over 300 separate injuries and were assaulted with sledgehammers, commercial grade fireworks, rocks, metal pipes, improvised explosive devices, and more. 1) Your entire post consists mainly of "I was smarter and better than everyone above me and they are responsible for me being injured". Classic loser syndrome. You weren't smart or competent enough to excel in your job. End of story
2) Let me get this, you actually "saw" a few E-8s so you "think" you know what they do?
You never made it above E-4, you don't know what E-5s, E-6s, and E-7s do much less what E-8s duties are which is very much different from your former level.
One of the duties of an E-8 is to ensure their subordinates have the opportunity to master requirements necessary for not only their current rank, but the one above them as well. This includes NCOERs.
There is no problem with having a subordinate write their NCOER. The subordinate will have more knowledge of what they have done over the past year than anyone else. This doesn't mean the NCOER will go up the chain of command as is. In most cases, it will not. NCOs are counseled quarterly by their supervisor. Documentation is kept by supervisors to be used when an NCOER is prepared. The supervisor has the responsibility to ensure the NCOER is accurate and bullets above and below a 3 are well documented.
3) You state "the only reason I wasn’t working a civilian job on the same base, doing the same job I was doing, like five squad mates of mine did, the day after I left is that I didn’t want to live in that area". What's stopping you now? You show yourself as unemployed. Did the fact that civilian businesses can hire quality instead of taking whoever is assigned to them dash your hopes? Apparently, you aren't as good as you think you are.
4) You keep trying to defend the cowardly thugs that make up ANTIFA. It is apparent that either you have been part of this group, still are a part of it, or a childish idiot that ignores the damage and violence that these Fascists are committing. Personally, I think it is all of the above. Your posts scream out "I am a loser", "Everyone else is to blame for my poor choices in life".
Hopefully, you will answer the door of your moms house one day and you will have a reckoning when law enforcement is standing there to arrest you. Keep in mind, many of these crimes are serious felonies and you can still be charged years later

Antifa is new and created in like the last few years. White Supremacy movements have been with us since before the Civil War. If you read the report and quote, thats what they mean by most consistent (longest standing) and lethal threat (has killed the most and threatens to kill the most). Antifa has not killed a lot of people yet where White Supramicist groups have a record that spans over a century. Antifa is mentioned in the amount of injuries it has caused direct to DHS staff and it's threat potential to morph into more direct acts of terrorism that would claim American lives. If you read the report you can see that is the angle the quote comes from. The report mentions antifa as a threat and also states it has the potential to become a very lethal movement as far as American Lives are concerned. It also mentions Iran and Hezzbollah and several other groups.
