So we are having a cold snap. Went from like sixty plus, to below freezing. So Kathy comes out of the bedroom dressed for the day. That is what you see in the Picture.
I broke out laughing.
"You can't get anymore Canadian than the way you are dressed."
She is laughing too.
She grew up in Rural Canada without indoor plumbing, or running water until she was in her teens. She has absolutely no worries about what other people think. If she is warm and comfortable...then everything is fine.
I told her that her outfit just was so cute...it made me want to just hug her.
Her response?
"Hey, I hugged you on New Year's...how much affection do you need?"
And I laughed again.
Canadians. They are a breed apart.
