One of our RP members responded to me about Orion - "A Brief Tour" and is interested in amatuer Star Searching, which triggered me to post a short video on how to use a "Star Chart".
This can be an exciting hobby as one learns more and more about the skies above us...and as that knowledge grows, then a more serious start search will inevitably occur!

Great video. A little tough for me to get into the garage attic these days but pretty sure I still have an Air Almanac up there. We would use that to program the astrotracker in the FB-111. In the days before GPS we could get the system to lock on to stars and continuously update the INS, as long as we were above the clouds.

MSgt Robert "Rock" Aldi Boring to say the least. Got to ferry B-52s from Thailand to US a few times during Vietnam days, one trip was very exciting but that's a whole other story.
