Water is still wet.....but none of it is used to wash away those who violate the trust between victims and those charged with protecting them. There is no room in My Army or any other branch for rapists. I can overlook a lot, but rape is something that can destroy unit cohesion, trust, and pit one against another. I've met and known only one rapist in my military career, and he was a friend. WAS. Once I found out what he did, heard the commander and 1SG blow the ceiling out yelling at him, he's not my friend anymore. He's no longer my peer as a NCO. He was charged, convicted, and did his time. Actions like that PROVE to victims that there is no room or quarter given, and no f*cks given in dealing with them. It should be the same way when a leader punishes a victim for coming forward. He/She has been raped. While they are looking to heal, and expect that you would be there for them, you're not and your actions and inactions are promoting an environment where this is ok. It is NEVER ok. You're raping him/her again. If I could be the SMA for a day...ANY assclown who did this would find that officer or NCO, your career is done, and while I am enlisted, I would go above and beyond to ensure that your life sucks while you going through the courts martial process, and your discharge reflects exactly what you did while in.

What did the five fangas say to the face? Nothing. The two fists followed, by two additional fists, supported by sz 12 boots, said hello. The person wearing all this is now either a PVT or an Inmate. I honestly couldn't imagine being around this. Maybe I have and didn't know it. The person I mentioned above was dealt with, and the victim was protected.

Sir, that's not a bad thing. It really isn't. Had you seen it, would you be MAJ Ready, PVT Ready, or Inmate Ready? I'm not sure how I would act KNOWING that a victim is being victimized AGAIN by the unit leaders themselves. The Creed doesn't mention everything, and professionalism could cost me more than being unprofessional for a moment. Like that GB who punched a cop. Was he right? YES. Was he wrong? YES. But he had to live knowing he did the hard right over the easy wrong. Due to the media coverage, I hope he's close to retirement. There are those petty enough to rile him up enough to say or act up and here we go again.
