I've mentioned before that I have nothing based on the AR-15 frame. I do have 1 long gun based on the AR-10, and I like it, a Lot. After reading this article, the Grendel and 300BLK are sounding better all the time on the lighter 15 frame.

I use a AR15 as my primary hunting rifle mostly since I am accustomed to using its style of rifle. However someone who is totally ignorant would consider it a 'Battle Rifle'.
Only idiots would actually say an AR15 is an 'Assault Rifle'.

Can't seem to find a .75 Brown Bess complete upper. Seriously though, I'd like to somehow shoehorn a .375 Ruger into an AR-10 or derivative for a hog rifle.

I have a AR Chambered in 450 Bushmaster, that I used on Hogs out to About 75 yards with 1 shot kills with very little Tracking Needed, That’s the Longest Shot Taken, I Don’t know how it would do Further Out.

I built a .308 win for my main rifle (ar-10 ) and a 300 blk for my wife's rifle. Go with the 300 blk, Get a 6.5 upper for your -10 lower.
