So with all the Posts about snow, I thought back to last year. We had the first real snow fall (almost eight inches!) in more than a decade. The kids flocked to every hill, slope, or valley. Nobody had a sled. They don't sell them here.
So it was cardboard, garbage can lids, surfboards...and; because our family couldn't find a toboggan ....they got out the canoe.
And let me tell you, that thing flew down the hill. And the adults all drove back home and got their canoes to race the kids in!
Hot chocolate, and Canoe races on snow...it doesn't get much better than that!
I am hoping for one snow day this coming year...nothing on the Horizon for the end of 2025. But one day to drag the old canoe out would be fun.
