Some people don't like Star Trek but others do. Since the demise of the original Star Trek television series in 1968, it's amazing how it's come back since the Star Trek motion picture in 1979. Now we have different movie directors coming up with their new versions of Star Trek or even updating or remaking old episodes. This is going to make things even more confusing for some. I recall going with a few major from all over the country going to the Star Trek Beyond movie, some of these officers only we're familiar with Star Trek Enterprise or Star Trek Voyager and didn't know the original Star Trek series and they didn't understand the movie. The younger generation is going to need to review the other Star Trek movies or TV series to be able to understand. Currently, there's another Star Trek series on CBS which will make things even more confusing.

Not hot on the idea of Trantino doing a ST movie. If they want a director to do it, who's a fan of ST, why not Bryan Singer? He's a huge fan, got to do a cameo, and I thought a fantastic job with Superman Returns.

I think quite honestly it just needs to stop, I found the newer films absolutely abysmal, I think there’s only so much water to be drawn from that or any other sci if we’ll reprise...after awhile, honestly, I find they all range the level of the inane to sheer pollyanna....

I thought the remake of Star Trek that came out in 2009 was a pretty good remake. The only sad thing is because of so many decades and so many spin-offs, not everyone has familiarity with the original Star Trek. I found that out in my command and general staff officer course Common Core Final hoorah where are graduating class went to go see Star Trek Beyond. Afterwards, we went to have some dinner and many of the majors, some of whom, did not know the original Star Trek but knew the sequels that came out in the 80s and 90s.

I perceive, however, o found the cat ages abysmally arranges, countless plot details bollocked up, and the entire plot premise hopelessly infantile, I realize you your group evidently thought otherwise and that tastes differ, however, I just found the whole thing completely bollocked up, honest, though many others obviously had your view, certainly, I completely realize that....

I perceive your rationale, however, knowing all the originals to the extent I do, I found the casting abysmal, the plot errors numerous beyond counting, and the plot itself utterly insipid, I realize those are entirely my own views, of course, i did see what you’d said about your class going to see it, I just have every iota of dialogue memorized en Toto by now, and know all the plots quite e literally frame by frame, I know when a scene had been removed, the ship was supposedly built in orbit, not on the ground, plus the ages of the so called actors, all basically children doing caricatures, were all at least to me all totally wrong, honest....

And to me, I find Tarantino films all somewhat to be caricatures, esp that horrible WW2 flick, which to me totally distorted historical reality, giving the impressionable an utterly false view of WW2 history, I perceive his technique, I just rather disagree with it quite often, I understand his films are quite popular, I realize that....
