Phylis posted a fight on the old Jerry Springer Show...and since I am from Ohio, and was a young man in my early 20's when he got busted. I thought I might remind folks.
Jerry was on the Cincinnati City Council, and wrote a check to a Hooker/Massage Therapist. And most of us were stunned by two things: Who writes a check to a Hooker? AND: What Hooker would take a check?"
But then again, he was a regular customer. With benefits.
A few decades later, and I was at a College where he talked about "redemption and Forgiveness." And he said this:
"If you ever need the services of a Hooker...don't write a check."
Which brought the house down.

SGT Kevin Hughes I remember that Jerry Springer scandal. But my post was Geraldo Rivera, 1988 Skinhead Brawl on live television. Geraldo suffered a broken nose.

SGT Kevin Hughes before she died at 97 years old in 2018, a retired school teacher told me Jerry Springer was her post college post retirement education. She said she was not too old to learn. She was Jerry Springer nuts!
By the way, a good scandal keeps our feet on the ground. I would know :). My son says, "oh my God, you're my mother. I'm not listening"! LOL!
