Our taxes . . .
Isn't peaceful coexistence preferable for a variety of reasons, even if some don't know and don't care about the people who are being harmed?
It is understandable why arms trade/dealing/thieving is a lucrative "business" for those who are not inclined to be law-abiding.
One of these could provide the equivalent of a good investment. Several, a better investment. Once used they are gone, in seconds, well, at least minutes - and provide highly questionable bang for the buck in return.

CPL LaForest Gray - That Charlie Chapln speech may have been one reason he was so revered, by earlier generations. I'm going to have to try to find "The Great Dictator" movie to watch. Watched a pre-talkie movie last weekend, "Ella Cinder" (of course a Cinderella story, lol). It was apparently a fan favorite and still is. The humor was outstanding.

MSG Stan Hutchison Good point. We've all heard of "peaceful coexistence" but have any of us experienced it, collectively, as nations? Not in my lifetime, so far, - and it is not looking like change any time soon.

SGT Mary G. peace is preferred... however, at what cost... certainly not at the expense of our Republic democracy & Constitution by those who don't want to honor the votes of the electorate by a Jan. 6th, 2021 insurrection. Now... we have the ex-president who wants to become our dictator... pardon the guilty... seek retribution of those who opposed or testified against him on any one of the 88 remaining felony charges. NOT ON MY WATCH!

SGT (Join to see) Yup. I agree there is danger within to our Constitutional Democratic Republic, which hopefully our justice system will prove it is up to handling as it should be handled so that our nation can get back on track in ways that benefit all.
