CSM Chuck Stafford LOL. Probably. Back when I went to school they didn't have free or reduced lunches. Today they even have breakfast. I've watched these kids. They have to get a fruit, drink and something else. Most of it ends up in the trash. Sad.

Remembering back Cpl Vic Burk, we could bring our lunch or buy our lunch. You ate what was served, there were no choices. There were no free or reduced lunches in the schools I went to.
I do remember though, if it was something good like hot dogs, hamburgers or spaghetti with meat sauce, if you finished your plate completely you could get a second plate.

A1C Medrick "Rick" DeVaney Wish I could have lived there. Our house was like at the joint of an L only facing backwards. 3 blocks to the elementary school and 2 to the High School. A treacherous walk every day for 12 years.

We werem't entitled lttle jerks. I used to work around three school ditricts doing Ekectronics, then liter I was ab advisor for a vocational sckool. One student refused to learn to solder, and insited, "No one yses oscillosopes anymore!" I had just walked in, The teacher siled, and pointed, "He does!" I was thrilled with the Tetronix 2465A scope on my bench at Microdyne. Four channel, 350NHz, ad it got a kot of use.
I have two of the, for ,y home shop.

When You Mentioned "One student refused to learn",
It Immediately Remined Me Of Something Cpl VIC BURK.
Our Local Math Teacher Stated: "If You Do Not Want To Learn, Nobody Can Make You,
BUT If You Do Want To Learn, Nobody Can Stop You". ~~ A Very Valuable Piece Of Information Vic Taught Me; After All Vic IS A Teacher And The Best Of The Lot.
