My wife and I were watching a Comedian we like (Nate Bargatze) and he said this wonderful line:
"There are more picture of my daughter than my Dad looked at me in my whole life."
I rolled. No selfies in the fifties or sixties, or not many. LOL

I have tons of old 8mm film. You didn't see my father without his movie camera.

My best friend father was like your dad. Him and his sister had plenty of 8 mm film taken in the early 50s. But that was rare. I think I have four pictures of me from birth till high school and two of those were taken with Polaroids.
