Most of us played with these little warriors back when were kids. It was either that or Cowboys and Indians. Now they're more into physical health than fighting wars. I'm assuming the video games have something to do with that, or the PC has invaded this toy too.
Those little green Army men we played with as kids have traded in their bazookas for yoga mats.
Shooting, crawling, lobbing grenades, getting melted by lighters stolen from our father’s cigarette drawer, calling in airstrikes on Panzer divisions advancing across kitchen floors — that’s the stuff little green Army men have been doing since they first rolled off the assembly line in the 1930s. Fighting imaginary wars is what they do. But the downward facing dog?
Well. Now they do that, too.

Being in Afghanistan, the pics will not load from Task and Purpose, but I am assuming we are talking about the guys that look much like these gents in green!

SGT (Join to see) - I assumed that they might be the same, I don't much like yoga!

CW5 Sam R. Baker - I sure wouldn't play with yoga soldiers. In fact I'm too old for any kind of toys.

SGT (Join to see) - I consider my 2003 V-Rod a toy, but it is not a little plastic guy! My son and I used to stack the forward lines in the living room and yard, then use a ping pong ball to knock them over for attrition......ah the good ole days!

CW5 Sam R. Baker - Well, I'll have to take back what I wrote about being too old for toys. I forgot about my fishing kayak. It is my toy.
Wish those "good old days" were back. Life seemed so much simpler.
