Oh my gosh. Color me old. So we are all waiting for tonight to see how much snow we get. Stores are empty of bread, toilet paper and water. Everyone is on pins and needles. Some (like us) hoping for snow to play in, and others (including us) hoping it isn't a disaster! Nobody needs to be without power or water...or god forbid, stuck on a frozen Highway.
But we do want enough snow to play in.
So the kids FACETIMED me...and told me this would be the second snow storm of their lives...and the second one this Century!
Wait? This century?
So I went and looked it up. They were right.
If this snow is five inches or more - like they think it will be. Then that will be as much as we got the last time just last year. Before that, the last significant snow...more than an inch, happened in....drum roll please!
1989!
Last Century !
I am old.

Well, if you've seen one century, Brother Kevin, you haven't seen them all. I think it's pretty cool that we've lived during 2 different centuries. Most of the people who have been born this century, so far, won't see another one.
