We seem to move from addiction to addiction. My Father had alcohol and cigarettes. He finally quit drinking at 54 but didn't stop smoking until his lungs were severely damaged. He lasted about 2 years on oxygen

God Bless your family and your father. My father did himself in at the age of 52. It wasn’t pretty
