It's easier to blame something else than blame the mismanagement, poor control of actions, and lack of facility maintenance the utility and their oversight are responsible for.
In true fashion it appears Democrats are quick to use feeling to advance their political agendas to grow Climate Change acceptance. They are shameless.
I dislike using the tag "Natural Disaster" because there was nothing natural about this.

I'm curious. What is the difference in the actual effort/aid on the ground if President Biden doesn't declare the Maui wildfires a "climate emergency?" Does anyone out there know?
I'm sure the survivors whose lives have been upended would like to know that declaring their disaster a "climate emergency" has SOME meaning BESIDES their availability as political pawns.

Any time the far left can they blame climate change without ever actually looking at the facts.

It appears they feed off themselves. An example is when they don't allow power companies to properly brush areas along lines and then a fire starts. While this didn't happen in Hawaii it did happen in other area like California.

SFC (Join to see) - Man is actually responsible for most forest fires out west. Decades ago the forest service would burn off using a controlled fire the undergrowth etc, just like mother nature would do with wildfires. Then conservationist got involved and we stopped controlled burns. The dead trees and undergrowth now builds up and when we do have a fire ( most of them man started intentionally or unintentionally) the fires are so intense our fire fighters cannot control or handle them.
