Russian forces have almost destroyed Ukraine, but Ukrainian forces still stand strong as obstacles in Putin's plans. The U.S. and its allies continues to support Ukraine indirectly, but what will eventually be the outcome? Negotiations have failed and both Putin and Zielinski have outlined their grounds for fruitful Armistice between Russia and Ukraine. What does Russia really want by controlling Ukraine?

CPT Gurinder (Gene) Rana - absolutely on the first statement. Only time will
tell on the question... if Putin isn't stopped now there will be a third W.W. eventually. IMO...

CPT Gurinder (Gene) Rana - Sparking WW3 is certainly a serious concern; especially with all the rhetoric inside our gov't. It reminds me so much of the rhetoric regarding Kuwait and how the alleged inhumane conduct of Sadam's forces there convinced most Americans that U.S. military action there was just and noble. To me, it SEEMS like our gov't is heading in that direction with all the hype.
It remains to be seen how China will now view their chances of invading Taiwan. Likewise, N. Korea seems ot be preparing for a reason to attack S. Korea. I fear both view the U.S. as being emasculated under the current leadership. That makes me wonder if Biden will try to flex some muscle, merely to prove otherwise!

SGT (Join to see) - It has become very clear the only way Putin has a chance against the West is non-conventual weapons. Nukes, EMPs, and infrastructure attacks. China will never attack its piggybank (the US). Anything conventional it is clear now (after digging in Ukraine) we would kick his ass back to the stone ages.

When America was in its greatest need during the Revolution, European officers volunteered to serve in the Continental Army, a short list includes Friedrich von Steuben, Tadeusz Kosciuszko, Marquis de Lafayette, Jean Baptiste Rochambeau, Casimir Pulaski and Johann de Kalb. The latter two men gave their lives in battle in for our cause, with de Kalb dying of bayonet wounds and Pulaski dying leading a calvary charge. From coast to coast, countless numbers of towns, roads, counties, schools and parks are named after these men to honor their service. Admiral Comte de Grasse's Fleet at Yorktown enabled us to win the Revolution. 9400 Americans are buried in the American Cemetery at Normandy. What was the purpose of their sacrifice, if we now turn our back on the free nations of Europe? We also begin to render moot, the sacrifice of the Rangers who scaled the cliffs at Pointe du Hoc. Are we really supposed to wait until the entire European continent is aflame before intervening? All Ukraine is asking for are weapons. Those in opposition to Ukraine Aid are essentially arguing that America was on the wrong side of the Cold War and that Russia should still occupy Eastern Europe. I mean, what side would President Reagan be taking if he was president today?
