Well, the last update on : "Snowmageddon 2026." It only lasted four days, but boy oh boy what fun they had. Built an igloo, built a snow fort, rode canoes down slippery slopes, and stayed out from sun up to sun down. And now...like all good things...it has come to an end.
My grandson and friends look so sad as the last of the igloo fights against the sun. And so, some day, twenty or thirty years from now, they will be chatting and say..."remember the big storm of 2026?"
And the answer will be:
"Oh Man, that igloo was sick!"

Actually, Brother Kevin, I think they will probably say "the big storm of '26". I'll bet that's a real letdown after their first 4 days of snow and didn't have to travel to get to it. YAY!!!

Yeah, us "Two Centuries" guys have to include the "20" ...they don't. My Mom and Dad were both born at the very beginning of the 1900's (1901 and 1903) So when they used to say : "Ought six" or "Ought eight", I thought it was so cute. And now my grandkids can say that same thing as all their important dates are in the same century. LOL

SGT Kevin Hughes - Interesting times Brother Kevin. Interesting times. My Grandmother was born in Ought 8 and yeah, I used to think it was cool hearing her say that.
