Did you watch Band of Brothers after 9/11?

For those unaware, the first episode aired on HBO on September 9, 2001. I was 11 years old when the towers fell. I didn't know about the show until I arrived at my first unit in Germany in 2008.

Did the show receive more attention after the towers fell? Was the show already making it's way through the Army? Did the 101st do any promotion of the show during its release?

1LT PT Caley if you ever find yourself in Toccoa, GA the first Weds of the month go to the Stephen’s Co Historical society at the old train Depot. They have a Vet Breakfast open to all Veterans the first Weds of the month. They have a former horse stable from England used by Easy. & Able Co as barracks before the jump in Normandy and Market Garden. They’ve also restored a street from the old camp near the base of Currahee Mountain. I know I saw it when it first came out but have no idea what 101st did after 9/11

I didn't have HBO then, but I bought the whole set/ Mini series in late 2003. I started watching the first two weeks ago on my d v d player.

I can't answer your question.

I also met Lt. Buck Compton in person at joint base Lewis McCord in 2009. I have a signed autograph book of his.
