I've been out for a minute so there is no rush to answer this one, just a general curiosity thing. As a Marine, I went through MCMWTC and it was some of the best training I've ever had. I'm curious how it compares/ contrast to the Army's Mountain Warfare School?

The only mountain training that really counts is mountain phase of Ranger school. It was such good training I did it twice.

Possibly. In turn, the only Ranger School graduates that really count are the one who did mountain phase once. Lol, j/k hard charger. One of the reasons I switched from Marine to Army was the ridiculous opportunities and schools. If you even sneeze anything that sounds like Jump School, the Army will send you. On the flip side, if I had sneezed anything that sounded like Jump School in the Corp, they would just hand me a piece of sand paper, tell me to wipe my nose with the issued "tissue", and charge me for destruction of govt property for using said tissue.

Army Mountain Warfare School is actually taught by the Vermont Army National Guard. Here is the TRADOC Website https://www.benning.army.mil/infantry/amws/
