I get into RP discussions all day long and I want to be generous with my thumbs up but we are limited to 50 per 24 hour period. If I start a discussion topic I feel those who join in deserve a thumbs up. I find myself, on occasion running out, maybe I'm too generous and not discerning enough. How do you feel about it?

From an RP Admin stand point, there has to be a limit somewhere I guess, so I'm not disagreeing with a limit just wondering if it needs a bit of an increase

I would say that 50 per day that count for points and the rest would be because you are enthusiastic about voting others up!

On another note, I have yet to hit the 50 thumbs up a day limit....I guess Im not challenging myself enough. I wonder if Rallypoint keeps tabs on each individual user and how much time they spend on here.

I do not like it when someone does not use spell check.

I think its the admin's way of telling you to get off RallyPoint and go do pushups / play outside...

CPT Z. Brooks: sounds like somebody’s parent back-in-the-day... before all the gizmos kids now have.. I was a voracious reader and take some mags and books up in the loft of cousin’s barn.. I had no interest in silly tag games with my brothers... Great aunty had great collection of Nat Geos that went back into the 40s or earlier..

50 sounds like a heck of a lot of votes until you get involved in a very heavy discussion. I never realized there was a limit to up votes until one day I found myself just carried away and going through a few threads. Suddenly I reached the limit and was 1) appalled I had responded that much and 2) upset that I could not reward the good thinking and comments I was still seeing.

This was on a rare day where I was able to devote a high number of hours to RP. By the time the next day rolled around I had lost the enthusiasm and time to go back and continue. (BTW, you can only Endorse 5 people a day. I found that out on the same day.)

SSgt Boyd Herrst I have found exactly two comments worthy of thumbs down. The first, I didn't have that level of "power" (didn't have enough points, yet). The second I did, and did.

Both were blatantly prejudiced and disgusting in both terminology and message. They have no place on regular social media, let alone in RP, which (at least in theory) has a much stronger baseline of respect and camaraderie.
