To me it means choosing the hard right, over the easy wrong in life. To work for what you earn and earn what you work for. Don't go though life expecting a hand out and don't be above giving a hand up.

I wish I could give you multiple thumbs ups for that last part! I have always tried to remind those around me that with freedom comes great responsibility. I'm afraid that too many are loosing sight of this!

"Living honorably" encompasses so much that it is hard to tie it all together in one nice, neat package. However, I had a SQDN CSM a while back who always said that "you need to do the right thing all the time no matter if anyone is looking over your shoulder." I believe by doing the right thing all the time, I live honorably.
