It's ignorant for any party to instantly "think" they have a particular demographic "on lock" in regards to votes. This is even more true being that the military is a melting pot of ideas and ideals, and they don't usually match to what the voting public thinks.

Yes, but it is a proven fact that a plurality will vote Republican. The rest are probably low information voters. :)

Wow! uninformed? Maybe look in the mirror. Democrats had 46 bills to support veterans on issues ranging from the VA, homeless veterans to suicide prevention, etcetera. The republicans voted down EVERY one. A LTC committed suicide in my state the week before our senators voted down the bill dealing with increasing numbers of military suicides. My American legion post even sent out emails to us outraged over this.

SSG Paul Setterholm - I don't normally plow the same ground twice when once should do the job. A low information poster would use anecdotal stories rather than providing supporting sources as I try to do. When and if that happens provide a reliable source and I will stand corrected. BTW did you read the entire thread or just leap? Thanks for the FNC update I seldom watch the channel. I tend to do my research on significant topics. Not so much on anything said in humor.
