You have to see this - he looks so frail, his story is so sad, some people can't deal with loss and at times no matter if they get help it doesn't help because the grief so deep, I'm hoping that things will be better for him after the video going viral.

CSM Michael J. Uhlig thanks for sharing a real good news story today. This definitely made my day seeing a veteran with some real talent getting this video and news coverage. I'm a band person myself (Drummer) in Country Band, so I love to see good things happen like this. Beats all the bad stuff that’s going on in the world. I hope they give him the job!

That was inspiring and bitter sweet. A broken spirit is hard to fix. Come Sail Away is so apropos for this man: I am sailing away, set an open course for the virgin sea, cause I have got to be free, free to face the life ahead of me.............

CSM Michael J. Uhlig, it is a cool story. Should teach people not to judge a book by its cover, as they say. A job playing in a piano bar is a start, but he is going to need an home, clothes, etc. I pray the people of that city embrace him and give him the tools and assistance he is going to need moving forward. Maybe the VA will see this and do their job as well. Thank you for sharing this story!

A truly touching story that should resonate with all that read/watch it. This man has a gift to be able to play as well as he does and I hope he finally overcomes his demons. It's also good to hear a business is willing to help and not just because it helps their bottom line. This man's take could be woven into a lesson for our young leaders, to take heed when your Soldiers are in despair and dig deep to help find the rit of their problems. Don't be so eager to hammer them before hearing "the rest of the story" as Paul Harvey would say.
