Scott Walker has seen the handwriting on the wall and decided to cease his campaign for president... His campaign had been in trouble because he just didn't do too well

Walker's campaign reminds me very much of Governor Tim Pawlenty's run last cycle. Good ideas, too Midwestern in demeanor, lost ground, bet the ranch on Iowa, ran out of money.
Too bad. There were quite a few candidates with less chops than Governor Walker.

Interesting. I somewhat expected to see some of this after the first poll after the last debate was released. It's expensive and tolling emotionally to keep a campaign going when you are at the point that you know you can't win anymore.

Commander Mulcahey... ....I think he does prove how artificial some politics are. Scott Walker was on TV yesterday and denied his campaign was in deep trouble because of money...He claimed he was counted out in Wisconsin but managed to pull off a win..

Money talks in politics and I guess it was not talking very much to Scott Walker... I think Trump has just taken too much oxygen out of this race among the Repubs and you will see more throwing in the towel.....

Sgt Tom Cunnally - Sergeant; One of the better "aggregate" sites for coverage of what is happening in BOTH parties is ElectoralVote

They do have a slight "liberal" bias, but also try to keep it under control (and generally succeed).

Track the election with a red/blue map of the US updated daily using the latest state polls.

He called for other GOP candidates to do that same and for remaining few to showcase true conservatism against the front runner (last minute shot at Trump).
I also read that the Koch brothers were asking for some, if not all of their funding back - however, I didn't fact check that source (hey, it was late at night and I was tired).

I think Scott Walker looked like a college student running for class president ..He did terrible in the debates and it cost him donors to his campaign.. Now watch the same thing happen to Kasich, Paul, Huckabee, and Santorum...One more boring debate by these old beauties and they are history..

It is good that he cut early. Save a whole lot of wasted time and effort down the road. Good guy, just not his time.

My guess would be Jindal. His numbers are in the dumpers (and trending down), he has no big donor funding his campaign, the latest "kiddy table" debate didn't help him, he has a state to run, and he is getting heat back home for being an absentee Governor. He may stick it out a little longer, just because of his ego, but he's the one who I think is the most vulnerable.

Wisconsin's Walker exits '16 race with harsh words for Trump
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Warning that the Republican presidential race has become too nasty, Scott Walker exited the 2016 campaign on Monday and urged others to quit, too, and "clear the field" so someone can emerge to take down front-runner Donald Trump.

Scott Walker is in fact putting his campaign on-hold (or suspending it) BLUF Still has bills to pay. Regardless, he was never a serious contender as others have expressed. He only had 2 questions in the CNN 3 hr debate.
