I used my government driver's license and got a CDL but that was 45 years ago. Check with your DMV.

In Pennsylvania, MAYBE. Never used to be able to, but somewhat recently, you can convert a military Truck Driver's License to a CDL by only taking the Driver's Test. Could be the same for a regular license .. but then again, in my day, you had to have a civilian license to obtain a military license. Well, at least for an ambulance, MP or other emergency vehicle. Things no doubt have changed; but I know when my son deployed to Iraq (Transpiration - truck driver) he had to have his PA License before leaving Ft. Dix.

Are you talking about a regular driver's license? If so, then the answer is 'no'. You still have to take the driver's test. I think I took the written portion to get my learner's permit.

Uhhh....why? If you had special qualifications like the m113 and m88 it might give you a leg in for construction work. Not sure if being qualified on a m998 counts for much. As far as I know for a regular CDL Class C(drivers license) it will not help you.

You are in Killeen take your 348 to the DMV and you’ll only have to take the diving portion.

I don’t know of any state that accepts a military license without testing

I think it depends on the state of the state you are trying to get your license in. If they would grant the license, they might have the person take a road test to test they ptoficiency.
